Waste Not Want Not is a 501 c3 nonprofit agency committed to fighting hunger + poverty every day located in Orange Park, FL. Founded in 1990, Waste Not is among the oldest and largest food rescue organizations in the state of Florida. We are not a food bank, rather we are a food rescue organization. Each year, thanks to nearly 300 volunteers, we rescue close to 2 million pounds of food that would otherwise go to waste. This rescued food is shared with more than 70 nonprofit organizations across 14-counties in Northeast Florida who use their shares to feed hungry children, families, and individuals. In 2024, we estimate that through our network of food distribution partners, we have fed more than 200,000 people.
