We believe that no person should ever go to bed hungry. It is estimated that over 35 million people - including 10 million children - face hunger each year in the United States. All while, 60 million tons, which is roughly 120 BILLION pounds of food goes wasted in the United States alone. That is a problem. Waste Not Want Not is a solution to that problem. We exist to prevent food waste and to fight hunger across 14 counties in Northeast Florida. We rescue food + help people. Join us.

We fight hunger by rescuing food from grocery stores, restaurants, farmers, and caterers. Each year, we rescue roughly 2 million pounds of food and work with close to 100 community organizations in 14 counties across Northeast Florida to get that food onto plates and into the bellies of our hungry neighbors. Join us.

What we do is not without cost. Each year, we must raise hundreds of thousands of dollars to rescue millions of pounds of food. In 2025, we will celebrate our 35th year of fighting hunger with several fundraising events. Join us.
